Mr. Stone leads a team of attorneys and support staff located in 7 offices across Georgia, Florida and Alabama. He is on the Board of Directors for the USFN/America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys as well as an active member of the American Legal & Financial Network and Mortgage Bankers Association, where he has participated as featured panelist and speaker. Managing Partner - Litigation & Trial Practice (Georgia/Alabama)
Kent Altom is the managing partner of McCalla Raymer's Georgia and Alabama Litigation and Trial Practice group. He coordinates all aspects of the firm's default litigation practice in Georgia and Alabama, including title curative litigation defensive litigation, and evictions litigation. Mr. Altom also handles non-judicial and judicial commercial foreclosure proceedings, receivership actions, Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosure sale confirmation proceedings, deficiency actions, and issues related to landlord-tenant law for local, regional, and national clients. Mr. Altom joined McCalla Raymer in 2005 and is admitted to practice law in Georgia and Alabama.
Mr. Altom received his law degree in 2002 from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama where he was a member of Cumberland's national trial and negotiation teams, a member of The Order of Barristers (Trial Advocacy), and a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow (Legal Research and Writing), and received the American Bankruptcy Institute's Medal of Excellence.
Mr. Altom received his bachelor's degree in business management in 1992 from Samford University. In addition to his bachelor’s and law degrees, Mr. Altom received two graduate degrees—the first in theology and the second in ethics magna cum laude from Emory University.
Prior to joining McCalla Raymer, Mr. Altom completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Thomas B. Bennett, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama and one year of general litigation practice in Alabama.
Kent lives in Johns Creek with his spouse and their daughter. Kent spends much of his spare time playing with Disney figurines and hunched over a bicycle with training wheels. A native of North Carolina, Kent has lived in six southern states and is an aficionado of fine barbeque sauce. If reincarnated, Kent hopes to attend a college with a top-ten Division I football team and then reside at the beach owning nothing but a shanty shack and a couple of old, worn out swimsuits, t-shirts, and flip-flops.
Earlier in his career, Kent aspired to be considered “far and wide” as a preeminent attorney. Now, having met a few preeminent attorneys, Kent just hopes that other attorneys will not run the other way when they see him coming down the hall and that judges won’t mumble “Oh, Brother” when he appears in their courtrooms. Jane Bond serves as the Managing Partner for Florida Litigation and has over 20 years litigation experience with 16 years specifically devoted to real estate litigation. As a professional educator, she enjoys frequently speaking at training seminars, conferences and continuing legal education teaching on real property issues including mortgage foreclosure, title issues, federal forfeiture, eminent domain and deficiencies. She is active in the United States Foreclosure Network, American Legal & Financial Network and Mortgage Bankers Association. Ms. Bond holds a B.A. degree from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Cooley Law School and holds Bar Memberships in Michigan since 1987 and Florida since 1989. Senior Partner - Bankruptcy
Michael is a senior partner in the bankruptcy department at McCalla Raymer, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, where he assists in the bankruptcy representation for dozens of mortgage lenders and servicers nationwide. He has been with the firm since 2004.
Before moving to the Atlanta area in 2004, Michael had a debtor practice with Bond, Botes & McCormick, P.C. in Biloxi, Mississippi and practiced civil and commercial litigation with Dukes, Dukes, Keating & Faneca, P.A. in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Michael is a native of Toronto, Canada and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1994 and is admitted to practice in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Michael has conducted continuing legal education seminars; written numerous articles; spoken to community groups, attorneys, and servicers; and even appeared on television to discuss bankruptcy. Recently he has discussed the Bankruptcy Reform Bill (BAPCPA) and federal regulations governing escrow accounts, and he has written articles on these subjects.
Michael is a member of several bankruptcy organizations, including the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference; the bankruptcy sections of the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee bar associations; the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (associate member). He was recently appointed to the TBA Bankruptcy Law Section Executive Council, and has served on the NACTT Mortgage Committee by helping to draft “Best Practices for Trustees and Mortgage Servicers in Chapter 13” and working with the Federal Rules Committee on the revisions to Federal Bankruptcy Rules which became effective on December 1, 2011 (i.e., Rules 3001 and 3002.1). He also chairs the Escrow Statements Subcommittee of the NACTT Mortgage Working Group. Since 2010 Michael has served on the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal Notes and Comments Advisory Committee. Michael is also recognized by the American Board of Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist.
In July, 2012 Michael was elected to the board of directors for the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN).
In his spare time, Michael is an avid sports fan, especially hockey and baseball. He has also worked for several minor league baseball and hockey teams.
Managing Partner - Closing & Evictions
Mr. McGehee is a senior partner in McCalla Raymer's Atlanta office with more than 20 years of real estate experience and the managing partner of the eviction, national eviction, REO and retail closing practice group. He is a member of the real property section of the Georgia Bar Association, the United States Foreclosure Network (Eviction Committee), and the American Legal Financial Network (Eviction Committee). He is counsel for Fannie Mae, FreddieMac and a number of other prominent national, regional and local lenders.
Mr. McGehee joined McCalla in 1998 working under the now retired former managing partner Richard Raymer. He worked with Mr. Raymer for two years with the retail closing group before moving to the default group where he assumed management of the REO closing department. The experience gained during his time with the retail closing group coupled with his four years of experience working in the mortgage industry prior to obtaining his law degree proved to be a perfect fit for McCalla's REO group. The department morphed into the largest REO closing departments in the nation closing well over 10,000 transactions in 2010. He is now managing partner of McCalla's eviction, national eviction and retail closing group.
Mr. McGehee is a native of Albany, Georgia and received his undergraduate degree (BA Finance / Banking) from Georgia Southern University. He graduated from the American University,
Washington College of Law in 1998 and is admitted to practice in Georgia. He has conducted continuing legal education seminars, written articles, counseled real estate and mortgage banking professionals, and provided on-site training classes for the nations top servicers, lenders and title companies.
Mr. McGehee is a devoted husband to his wife Jennifer and father to their four children John, Kate, Grace and Abbey. He enjoys the occasional round of golf, fishing, hunting and running. Ms. Reiss is the Practice Group Leader of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation and Transactions group and the Firm’s Bankruptcy Group. With nearly a decade of private practice experience at a large national law firm, Ms. Reiss focuses her practice on financial transactions, real estate, bankruptcy, insolvency, banking, corporate governance and commercial law. Her clients include banks, financial institutions, conduit, asset-based and hard money lenders, investors, businesses, receivers and creditors’ committees. Ms. Reiss has significant experience in all phases of commercial and real estate finance, including formal and informal business credit structuring and reorganizations, loan documentation and structuring, banking, leasing, bankruptcy, insolvency, guarantees, real and personal property secured transactions, agricultural loans, commercial and real estate litigation, construction finance, dispute resolution and receiverships.

Ms. Reiss was named a 2009 and 2012 Georgia Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine’s Super Lawyer’s edition. Mr. Rutledge has been named chief operating officer. Mr. Rutledge will serve on the firm’s executive committee and report directly to Marty Stone, the firm’s managing partner. He will hold functional responsibility for the firm’s technology, finance and administration.
Rutledge joins the firm with over 15 years experience in mortgage banking and servicing. He received a BS degree in psychology from Emory University and a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law and is admitted to practice in Georgia. He currently holds an appointment as special assistant attorney general for the state of Georgia. Shell currently resides in John’s Creek, Georgia with his wife Kim and sons Hunter and Carson and daughter Avery.

Mr. Silver is the Managing Partner of Default Services at the law firm of McCalla Raymer. He has been with the firm for 8 years, and previously managed the foreclosure groups.
He enjoys frequently speaking on topics related to mortgage banking law including federal and state default servicing statutues, regulations, mortgage servicing rules, case law, loss mitigation and title issues. He has conducted continuing legal education seminars, panels and trainings for numerous mortgage servicers and in-house counsel, and has written several articles.
Mr. Silver is admitted to practice law in the states of Georgia and Florida. He received his law degree from Mercer University and his undergraduate degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Mr. Silver is an active member in a mumber of industry assocaitions. He serves as Chair of the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) Consumer Lending Statutes Committee. Ms. Jones is a Managing Partner in McCalla Raymer LLC’s Georgia Foreclosure Group. Ms. Jones joined McCalla Raymer LLC in 2008 as an associate in the foreclosure and eviction departments. Prior to joining McCalla Raymer LLC, Ms. Jones was an associate with a small law firm in Dunwoody, Georgia. Her practice areas included family law, commercial transactions, business litigation, real estate litigation, and other general civil litigation. Ms. Jones graduated from Georgia State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2005, she graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Georgia and Alabama. Within Georgia, she is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Robyn Katz joined McCalla Raymer in August 2011 as FL Managing Foreclosure Attorney and became partner in June 2012. Ms. Katz is an authority on creditors’ rights and foreclosure and eviction laws for the State of FL as she has been practicing in these areas since 1999. Ms. Katz leads a team of 17 attorneys and support staff located at the firms’ four Florida offices, in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Panama City and Tampa.
She holds a BA degree from the University of Florida and a JD from the University of Miami. She enjoys speaking at training seminars, conferences and continuing legal education seminars on mortgage foreclosure related topics. She is an active volunteer with the Broward County Schools and supports many local charities.
Ms. Reid joined the Firm as General Counsel with over twenty five years of experience in commercial and residential real estate and mortgage banking. Immediately prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Reid was Associate General Counsel for Fannie Mae for fifteen years. During her tenure at Fannie Mae, Ms. Reid focused on origination and default related issues for the multi-family and single family businesses including underwriting, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, mediation, title litigation and REO sales. Most recently, Ms. Reid concentrated on foreclosure related issues in the State of Florida including mandatory mediation and other legal strategies for managing the residential defaulted loan portfolio in various states.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Ms. Reid was East Coast Counsel for HomeFed Bank, San Diego, California. In this capacity she provided legal services for a significant commercial real estate portfolio from loan origination through default and the sale of REO properties. Ms. Reid was also associated with Lawyer’s Title Insurance Corporation in the National Division as Counsel providing expertise in multi-state and multi-property commercial real estate transactions.
Ms. Reid has been a frequent speaker at various conferences and seminars on loss mitigation and foreclosure issues. Ms. Reid was selected by Housing Wire Magazine as one of the 2012 Women of Influence the Housing Industry. She graduated with a B.A. degree from Colorado Womens College with a double major in music and biology and a Juris Doctorate degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Reid is a member of the Georgia and Missouri Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and a Board Member of Chrysalis Center Inc., a non-profit retreat center.

Mr. Sharma joins McCalla Raymer as the new Chief Information Officer & Chief Financial Officer. Anil has had a career in technology spanning 20 years focused in Financial Services. Most recently he was the CTO for a provider of solutions to the default management industry.
Earlier on, Mr. Sharma, worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers and IBM Global Services in their consulting divisions. He later joined Elavon’s (USBank) technology leadership team that successfully built Euroconex into a global payments company in Europe before coming back to run Application Development in the United States. Following that he served as the CIO for the State Bank of Mauritius and General Manager of IT at Hong Leong Bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Anil has a B.S. in Accounting from University of South Alabama and a MS in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.
